2016 Joint-Assessment progress and priority setting exercise
The 2016 Joint-Assessment exercise aimed to assess progress in SUN Countries between the period April 2015 and April 2016 supported by key documents and evidence. It gave an opportunity for nutrition stakeholders to come together and identify country priorities for 2016-2017 and an opportunity to reflect on challenges and to identify where support is needed to realise joint goals in-country.
The exercise was developed to be participatory process by bringing together relevant in-country stakeholders working to scale up nutrition including representatives from government, civil society, science and academia, donors, the United Nations, businesses, and other relevant actors.
Priorities identified in Joint-Assessments guide the SUN Movement Secretariat and Networks to provide adequate support and serve the decision-making process of the SUN Movement Executive Committee and SUN Movement Lead Group, as they guide the SUN Movement.
