SUN is a country-led Movement, which puts countries at the heart of global efforts to improve nutrition.

The Country Network is made up of the Government Focal Points from each SUN country and acts as a key driving force for the Movement.

The Network meets through a series of conference calls every six weeks and an annual gathering. Regional meetings take place when the opportunity arises. The Network provides an opportunity for SUN Government Focal Points to share experience, providing the Movement with analyses of their country’s progress in scaling up nutrition. It also provides an opportunity for countries to seek advice or assistance, enabling other Networks and the SUN Movement Secretariat to engage in issues that cannot be addressed in-country.
