Gambia: NaNA, Stakeholders Discuss Nutritional Survey Final Report

(The Daily Observer) – The National Nutrition Agency (NaNA) and stakeholders Tuesday discussed the final report of the National Nutrition Survey using the Standardised Monitoring and Assessment of Relief and Transition (SMART) method. The conclave, which brought together 37 participants, studied and analysed the report which covered the assessment of the nutritional status of children under five years.

13 MARCH 2013 (The Daily Observer) – The National Nutrition Agency (NaNA) and stakeholders Tuesday discussed the final report of the National Nutrition Survey using the Standardised Monitoring and Assessment of Relief and Transition (SMART) method at the (NaNA) conference hall.

The conclave, which brought together 37 participants, studied and analysed the report which covered the assessment of the nutritional status of children under five years.

The UNICEF Country representative to the Gambia, Aichatou Diawara Flambert, gave an overview of the survey. She explained that it was meant to determine the nutritional status and mortality of children under five in the Local Government Areas (LGAs). Read More ▶
