Ms. Loshani Peiris stands at the forefront of Sri Lanka's battle against malnutrition as the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) focal point. With an illustrious career spanning nearly two and a half decades in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, Ms. Peiris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. A distinguished alumna of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, her academic background in Management, Finance, Public Administration, and Financial and Development Economics equips her with a multifaceted perspective crucial for addressing complex societal challenges.

Throughout her tenure, Ms. Peiris has held key positions across esteemed institutions such as the Ministry of Mass Media, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment, and various departments within the Ministry of Finance including External Resources and General Treasury, demonstrating exemplary leadership and a steadfast commitment to public service.
