43rd Session of the Committee on World Food Security

From 17-21 October 2016, the 43rd Session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS43) was held at the Food and Agriculture Organization Plenary Hall in Rome, Italy. 2016 marks the 40th anniversary of CFS which held its first session in 1976 following a World Food Conference decision in 1974.

14671310_925645154245975_2902444383629331021_nFrom 17-21 October 2016, the 43rd Session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS43) was held at the Food and Agriculture Organization Plenary Hall in Rome, Italy. 2016 marks the 40th anniversary of CFS which held its first session in 1976 following a World Food Conference decision in 1974. Seven years after the multistakeholder reform in 2009, the Committee continues to be an inclusive international and intergovernmental platform for all stakeholders to work together to ensure food security and nutrition for all.
