On 15 March 2016, Civil Society Alliance for Nutrition, Nepal (CSANN) held an event in Lalitpur to facilitate an interactive discussion about achievements made to date towards the National Multi-sector Nutrition Plan (2013-2017) and to pave a way forward. Over 150 people from multiple stakeholder groups joined the event including teachers, students, health professionals and members of the media.

The panel discussion was chaired by Prof. Dr. Uma Koirala, Chairperson of CSANN and member of the SUN Movement Executive Committee and featured representatives from the National Nutrition and Food Security Secretariat, line ministries and a nutrition expert.
The event was conducted under the facilitation of Mr. Bijay Poudel, Senior Journalist.
