From 12-14 November, over 80 participants from 18 countries including SUN Focal Points and global experts gathered in Nairobi for a Workshop on Costing and Tracking Investments in support of Scaling Up Nutrition. As a result a Community of Practice was initiated in 2013 with support from the UN system, donors and CSO networks. Focal Points from within SUN countries are enabled to benefit from international expertise to reinforce capacities for planning, costing, implementing and financing at national and local level. It engages practitioners from countries and more than ten external entities. In 2014 this Community of Practice will explore options for improving the implementation of multi-sectoral actions for scaling up nutrition by multiple stakeholders.
