On 21 September 2016, Gerda Verburg, SUN Movement Coodinator attended a breakfast event by Deliver for Good titled “Investments in Girls & Women to Achieve the SDGs”. Over 100 participants from UN Missions, country delegates, civil society, UN agencies and youth advocates participated in a dialogue to attract attention to the solutions, tools and integrated approach of the Deliver for Good campaign. Moderated by Raj Kumar, Founding President and Editor-in-Chief of Devex, the event helped to build an understanding of the need to strengthen existing partnerships and cross-sector engagement to achieve the SDGs.
About Deliver for Good
The Deliver for Good campaign was first launched at the 4th Women Deliver Conference in Copenhagen Denmark in 2016. Deliver for Good sets to connect the issues that affect girls and women’s lives through an integrated approach. t is a global campaign that applies a gender lens to the Sustainable Development Goals and promotes 12 critical investments in girls and women to power progress for all.
