MALAWI NEWS AGENCY 17 MARCH 2014: Government has appealed to nutritionists in the country to take a leading role in implementing nutritional programmes with the aim of achieving a free malnutrition Malawi.
Principal Secretary(PS) in the Department of Nutrition HIV and AIDs in the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC) Edith Mkawa said on Monday in Lilongwe that despite considerable gains in child survival and maternal health especially reduction of underweight children, there were no improvements in chronic under nutrition and anemia.
