On the 30 March 2014, in Yokohoma, Japan, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a report on Climate Change: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability.

The report acknowledges that human interference with the climate system is occurring, and climate change poses risks for human and natural systems. With regards to nutrition, the report identifies that there will be an increased likelihood of under-nutrition resulting from diminished food production in poor regions.
