On 25 August 2015, the Civil Society Alliance (CSA) in Pakistan held a strategy development workshop in Islamabad to identify key advocacy issues, revisit objectives and set goals for the next three years.

The new strategy includes direction on advocacy and communication activities to promote good nutrition in the country.

The children of today will take Pakistan forward and if they are stunted, in the next 10 years, how will they gain employment? How will stunted children grow up to be women and then mothers that can nourish healthy babies?” – Dr. Baseer Achakzai, Director of Nutrition at the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination.

Launched in 2014, the SUN CSA Pakistan has over 110 civil society organisation members from across the country.
