Republic of the Congo Joins SUN Movement

On 7 October 2013, the Republic of the Congo became the 43rd country to commit to scaling up nutrition with the SUN Movement. Nearly 25% of children under age 5 in the Congo are stunted while 10% are born with low birth weight. Food insecurity also continues to challenge the population, as well.
