Right to Food and Nutrition Watch 2013

The latest report of the Right to Food and Nutrition Watch 2013 was published on 8 October and identifies a number of policies that generate hunger and malnutrition rather than reducing them. One of the articles in the report ‘The Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Initiative’ written by Claudio Schuftan and Ted Griener, sets out some risks that are perceived to exist within the Movement.

The latest report of the Right to Food and Nutrition Watch 2013 was published on 8 October and identifies a number of policies that generate hunger and malnutrition rather than reducing them. One of the articles in the report ‘The Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Initiative’ written by Claudio Schuftan and Ted Griener, sets out some risks that are perceived to exist within the Movement.

The issue of conflict of interest, and how to prevent and manage it, is an issue for all multi-stakeholder partnerships. The Global Social Observatory, an independent forum for multi-stakeholder dialogue established in 2004, is facilitating a consultation process on conflict of interest within the context of the SUN Movement.  All within the Movement are invited to comment on the analysis of the article’ authors below. You can read more about the SUN approach to conflict of interest here.
