The Second Annual High-level Meeting on Scaling Up Nutrition held during the UN General Assembly reviewed progress made, opportunities for impact and commitment to results.

The United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, the Minister for International Development from the Government of Canada, Mr. Julian Fantino, and the Chair of the Scaling Up Nutrition Lead Group, Dr. Anthony Lake, were joined by political, business, scientific and civil society leaders in New York at the second annual review of the Scaling Up Movement. They welcomed new member-countries that have joined the Movement in the last year, reviewed progress made throughout the SUN Movement since 2011, and discussed commitments to greater investments in nutrition.
