On 14 April 2014, Senior Officials of the SUN Donor Network met at the World Bank in Washington D.C. to discuss how they can continue to support the SUN Movement. The meeting was structured into three sessions beginning with results, followed by how the network can work more effectively at country level and lastly how the network will maintain nutrition high on the global agenda. Regarding the latter point, the Senior Officials agreed upon a SUN Donor Engagement Strategy on Nutrition for the Network. With respect to ongoing facilitation of the Donor Network, Germany agreed to fund a full-time network facilitator position for two years. USAID and Canada committed to be co-facilitators.
