On 6 July 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution A/RES/69/310 on the follow up to the Second International Conference on Nutrition. United Nations member states welcomed the Rome Declaration on Nutrition and the Framework for Action. At the meeting, the representative of South Africa, on behalf of the “Group of 77” developing countries and China, invited Governments, United Nations agencies, funds and programmes, and other stakeholders to implement the Framework to achieve better nutrition for all.

This is supported of SUN Country efforts for Scaling Up nutrition and is a sign of the continued commitment of the international community to nutrition.
