UNGNAOn 29th and 30th June 2015, the United Nations (UN) Network for SUN held a regional consultation in Bangkok, Thailand, to further coordinate efforts on scaling up nutrition in the Asia and Pacific. The meeting was hosted by FAO and co-organised by the United Nations Standing Committee on Nutrition (UNSCN) and the UN Network for SUN. The meeting was a follow up to the Second international Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) held in November 2014.

The event brought together over 100 participants from SUN Countries, academic institutions, civil society and United Nations agencies including the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), UNICEF and the World Food Programme (WFP).

The meeting aimed to strengthen joint country support by UN agencies for improved nutrition programming and also represented an opportunity to review the recently launched, United Nations Global Nutrition Agenda.
