Launched in May 2014, this document is a joint analysis and interpretation of the current nutrition situation in Bangladesh. With data and prioritized recommendations, it identifies how the Government of Bangladesh can accelerate the scale up of nutrition and how UN agencies and development partners can provide support.
It is an example of how UN agency collaboration, together with other development partners, can result in a common narrative that supports government efforts towards Scaling Up Nutrition. A common narrative can provide a strong basis for discussion among multiple stakeholders and across multiple sectors and help governments to set clear policies and programmes that work towards achieving common targets.
