Machara Faustin

Biography

Mr. Machara Faustin has 18 years of experience working in the public health system of Rwanda. He has played a leading role in the development of the Rwanda National Nutrition policy and strategy, the District Plans to Eliminate Malnutrition (DPEMs), The DPEM Guidelines, the National Protocol of Management of Acute Malnutrition, the Community Based Nutrition Programs (CBNP) as well as the Maternal, Infant and Young Children Nutrition tools (MIYCN Counselling Cards). Machara Faustin is an active member of the Food and Nutrition Technical Working Group (FNTWG) , and is currently the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Focal point for Rwanda
