Mr. G. L. Wernon Perera

Biography

Mr. G. L. Wernon Perera is a Sri Lanka Administrative Service Special Grade officer with 23 years of service experience and currently working as an Additional Secretary to the President at Presidential Secretariat, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prior to his present appointment he has served as an Assistant Secretary, Deputy Secretary at Ministry of Education (Southern Province), Divisional Secretary at Divisional Secretariat, Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka, Senior Assistant Secretary at Ministry of Health (Southern Province), Secretary of Ministry of Sports (Southern Province) and Additional Secretary at Ministry of Wild Life Resources.

He holds a Bachelors of Science (Hon) degree from, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from same University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from International University of Japan. His Alma Mater is Deniyaya Central College, Sri Lanka. He obtained Certificates in the areas of Capacity Building, General Management, and English for Professionals, Public Administration from Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration and various local & foreign Institutes.
