Aimé Garlas Kwizera

Biography

Aimé Garlas Kwizera is a Rwandan natioanl with a background in agricultural economics and business administration. His experience spans over 10 years in agribusiness, innovative finance, and food and nutrition security programmes in low- and middle-income countries. 

He joined GAIN in 2017 and currently leads a very important part of the work of GAIN of supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which form the backbone of national food systems, especially in Africa. This includes the oversight of SBN and Nutrition Impact at Scale (NIS) programmes. Before taking up this role last month, he worked on 3 other GAIN programmes working with MSMEs and the private sector to deliver nutritional outcomes in their countries.
