From the 3 to 4 December 2014, Over 60 participants came together for the Enhanced Learning Exercise on the Prevention and Management of Conflicts of Interest in the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement, hosted by Indonesia at the DoubleTree for Hilton Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.   Multi-stakeholder representation included participation from multiple Indonesian government agencies, NGOs, UN agencies, academia, and the private sector.  Additional multi-stakeholder representation came from Bangladesh, Lao PDR and Sri Lanka.

Participants had the opportunity to discuss case studies of conflict of interest situations with guidance from the draft Reference note and toolkit.  While many found the reference note and toolkit useful, it was noted that countries would have to tailor the criteria on how to apply the definition and measure indicators to their specific situations.
