September Update: The SUN Business Network

September 2015 Update: In addition to preparation for the 2015 SUN Movement Global Gathering, the SUN Business Network (SBN) is preparing for a regional workshop from 3 to 4 December 2015, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Three representatives, including SUN Government Focal Points, from each SUN Country in Asia, plus the state of Maharashtra, have been invited to participate.

The SBN is also preparing for a West Africa regional workshop between January and March 2016. The workshops will be developed with insights from the recent June 2015 workshop in Eastern and Southern Africa.

As of September 2015, 164 companies have joined the SBN and those who made commitments at the 2013 Nutrition for Growth Summit, have been tracked for a second year through the Global Nutrition Report. Eleven countries are in the process of building business engagement strategies.
