The Strategy for SUN (2021-2025), adopted by the SUN Movement Lead Group in December 2020, sets out an ambitious vision to align global efforts to scale up nutrition behind country leadership. The  Operationalisations (OPS) Group has been initiated to support the transition from SUN 2.0 to SUN 3.0, and is led by the SUN Movement Executive Committee members Allison Oman, Asma Lateef, Jo Moir and Tumaini Mikindo and will report directly to the Lead Group.

In four working groups the OPS group will focus on key questions related to:

(1) Country Delivery.
(2) Knowledge Management and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning (MEAL).
(3) Financing.
(4) Governance and Accountability.

The group will build primarily on expertise in the SUN Movement, with an emphasis on stakeholders from SUN Countries. The group will also be supported by external consultants for project- and change management. The outcomes of earlier consultations will be included in the process, as well as the Functional Review of the SUN Movement Secretariat. The main deliverable of the group will be a set of recommendations for the transition to SUN 3.0 which will be presented to the SUN Movement Lead Group for adoption.

More information, including terms of reference, composition of the OPS  group and the timeline can be found on the website. For any questions feel free to reach out to the SUN Secretariat directly.
