National Policy to Support Early Childhood Development in El Salvador
The national policy to support early childhood development “Crecer Juntos” (Growing Together) aims to ensure that all children from El Salvador reach their maximum development potential during early childhood. The policy groups its main interventions by life course in comprehensive early childhood care packages distributed in four axes: health and nutrition; education and care; protective environments; and protection of rights. Thus, each stage of childhood is covered to prevent poverty, violence, inequality and lack of opportunities and innovation.
