Political advocacy: Towards a state nutrition policy in Ecuador

The linking of the Civil Society Alliance with the current public policy on child nutrition in Ecuador has allowed an articulated and technical work to constitute the Consultative Council for the Prevention and Reduction of Chronic Childhood Malnutrition, a civil society advisory council to observe and monitor public policy, projects and resources in favor of the fight against chronic child malnutrition (CCMN), and with this, to promote sustainability and institutionalism, as well as to strengthen the path, to make the fight against CCMN a long-term State policy.
