Thu, 22 May, 2025

Nigeria success story:

The National Food Consumption and Micronutrient Survey (2021) launched in 2024 assessed the micronutrient status and dietary intake of women of reproductive age (15-49 years) including the micronutrient status of non-pregnant adolescent girls aged 10-14 years.

This story highlights how the country is using the updated data provided by the 2021 NFCMS, which became crucial for evidence-based decision-making in food, nutrition and agriculture programming in Nigeria.
